Baltic Cruise

15 Sep 2019

23 Members joined M/V Columbus in Tilbury on Sunday 15th September and sailed for a two week holiday calling at 8 major Baltic cities. Once in the Baltic we were blessed with fine weather and a great time was had by all. Without doubt the cruise highlight was our 2 day visit to St Petersburg in Russia where we had an exclusive and intensive tour for STC members arranged by Bruce. After 2 days we were all exhausted but we had seen all the major sights of this great city from above ground, from the river and from the underground on the subway. A very enjoyable couple of days.

Overall the cruise will be one to remember, with so many highlights but in particular there was a great STC atmosphere with joyful personalities and an air of camaraderie which prevailed throughout.

Sidmouth, Devon

06 Oct 2019

We had another brilliant trip to Sidmouth, with requests to do it next year again!

Dalmatia Cruise

27 members all enjoyed a wonderful week on the Croatia coast onboard the vessel “Prestige” which was well founded, spacious, spotlessly clean and with a great crew who served us super food.

A good combination of daily swimming stops, afternoon snoozes whilst at sea and late afternoon walking tours which gave us an opportunity to appreciate a little of the Croatia history seem to strike a happy balance for all.

Most evenings were spent ashore exploring the local town which gave us an opportunity to sample the local food and wines.

Madeira

21 Mar 2019

Towards the end of March a small group of us headed to Madeira.  A great time was had by all!

STC Agm

06 Mar 2019

The STC's AGM was again held at Silvermere Leisure and Golf, with a record number of members attending.  Next year we hope to get even more of you there!  After the business of the AGM, we had a superb buffet lunch followed by an after lunch speech all about King Edgar - from one of our very own members!
